Before you can guide your money, you have to see it. Learn the simple habit that starts everything.
Most money stress comes from not knowing. Not knowing how much comes in, how much goes out, or where it went. The fix is not a complicated system — it is one honest look at your own numbers.
Start with last month. Write down your take-home pay, then list what you spent: housing, food, transport, debt payments, subscriptions, everything. You do not need perfect numbers. Close enough is enough to see the pattern.
Now subtract spending from income. If money is left over, it needs a job — savings, debt, or a goal. If spending is higher than income, that gap is the first thing to close, before anything else.
Do this once a month. Ten minutes. That single habit is the foundation every other lesson builds on.
